A study in hemolytic property and action of parenteral prepaarations

Abstract
|
|
|
It is very important to study the hemolytic property and the action of the parenteral solutions. Although there are several methods for the calculation of hemolytic degree, we determined to review the method of optical absorption studied by Okano ee and tested 7 kinds of drug solutions.
Upon inspectise, it is noted that there are two groups of drugs, according to their modes of action. One is a grop of drugs which are not hemolytic in isotonic solutions, but are more or less hemolytic in more dilute solutions.
The other is a group of drugs which have specific hemolytic activity in spite of the concentration of solutions.
